What Our Fantastic Guests Say:
VRBO rates us 4.7 out of 5

I was very happy and impressed by the great condition of the Nauvoo Brickhouse two-story rental accommodations in Nauvoo, IL. With the basement, main floor and second floor, there were plenty of beds, washer and dryer and a large kitchen and three dining tables with dishes, pots & pan and utensils. It had good A/C and plenty of bathrooms. 5 stars.

The property was convenient and was set up very well for large groups or families. Overall it was clean but could use new shower curtains. That said, we would stay there again. By far, one of the best places we have rented in Nauvoo. Thank you for letting us stay!

With six bedrooms and six bathrooms and a big basement that is empty except for a couple of futons and a TV, this house was more than enough to accommodate our family. It was cold much of the time, so having the basement where the kids could run and play was a blessing. The heat was finicky at first, but calls to the manager got things straightened out. She was most helpful.

I hope to be able to rent this house again someday.

t was a great home. We loved all the bedrooms and bathrooms. We also appreciated the sound proof basement. We didn't hear the kids playing at all.

We liked that it had so many bedrooms and enough bathrooms (6) for large groups. Also, everyone was on a real bed, not just a sofa. There is also lots of room at dinner (seats for about 18). There were 15 in our group and this house had plenty of room. Unfortunately the old small grocery store in Nauvoo has gone out of business and the convenience stores don't really have groceries, so the closest grocery stores are about 25 minutes away in Fort Madison. But it is still better to stay in Nauvoo and go out once to get all of the groceries. There is also a great tee shirt shop right across the street. We had awesome reunion tees made for about 11 dollars a shirt. The shirts were ready in two days. One additional item, this house is one of about eight very similar homes that go almost all the way around a block. There is a large pavilion in the middle of them all. It appears that they all have different owners but could possibly be rented together if you wanted to have a really big reunion (about 100 people). We had an awesome time. Thank you to the owners for providing a great place for us to make some memories.

We loved our stay in this home. The owner and manager were very easy to work with and very accommodating. The house was very large, with every convenience. I felt like everything was well thought through. We had 2 large families staying there yet never felt crowded. I loved that they had a crock pot to use. It made dinner easy on a busy day and evening. I will stay here again, and would recommend this home to anyone. Spacious Bedrooms where the parents could have an escape and the cousins could all hang out, and enough bathrooms (5) that there was never a line or wait. Also it was nice to be able to do laundry. There were two gathering areas besides the kitchen one for adults and one for the kids. The kitchen was spacious with several tables. I felt like they thought of everything we could possibly need to make our stay easy, restful and convenient.
